Maddie's Rescue Message

Dear Mom, Dad, Treevor, Reba and all my GoldHeart friends,

From here, at the Rainbow Bridge, I see that you are feeling great pain and sorrow that I am gone. I always wanted nothing more than to bring you happiness...and let me tell you why. I am in a place where my body is healthy and I feel just perfect. I can look back and say, "Thank you," for all you did to help me with my illness. It was so complicated, keeping track of my poops, all my pills, the vet visits, phone calls and the food changes. The tender patience you had for my discomfort permitted me 5 extra months of love and belonging. Throughout those months, you made me the heart of your home and shared with me your foster dogs, Cinder, Jack, Kyra and Wilson. Remember, how Treevor would steal my woobie and make me chase him for it? He loved me sooo...I just know it! Try to remember our fun and joy in one another. I do! With all my love and licks, Maddie.
