Happy Endings - Skipper

When "Pearl" joined our family about a month ago it was an instant fit. A three year old female, she already had almost perfect indoor and outdoor manners. She accepted our visiting adult children with just the right amount of affection and they were very taken with her, too. The first night with us she slept right next to our bed as if she had always lived there. (Even our old, curmudgeon parrot has become smitten with her.)

Pearl

At first, Pearl was recovering from spaying, kennel cough and an ear infection. As she improved, her energy returned. She loves retrieving (no surprise), long walks and policing the grounds for rabbit trespassers. She is mentally quite sharp and learns new commands and tricks very quickly. She is the dog that we never thought we would be lucky enough to find! We are thankful for the efforts of GoldHeart and feel quite privileged to be able to provide a good home to such a wonderful dog. We have also give her a new name, Skipper.
