Happy Endings - Bryce

We adopted Bryce in July 2007. We hadn't owned a Golden before, but some friends of ours who are members of GoldHeart adopted 2 Goldens, and we knew by watching their experience that this was the way we wanted to go.

Bryce

A GoldHeart representative came to our home not only to inspect it to make sure it was a good environment for the dog, but to learn more about us and what kind of dog would make the best fit for us. We appreciated the care and concern given both to the dog and to our family.

Bryce became available the day after our home visit. We were asked to foster him, but when we picked him up, we immediately fell in love with him and knew that he would be ours. Bryce was thought to be approximately 1 year old. He was underweight and neglected, but his eyes were full of love and affection. He has been the perfect addition to our family.

He was riddled with fleas and his coat was in terrible shape - bald in areas. His coat has since grown in beautifully, and he has gained his weight back. He is a gorgeous dog! His favorite activities are playing fetch with anything we throw and trying to get the cat to play. He has excellent leash manners, he gets along well with other dogs and people, and he has such a great attitude for life.

Our experience has been so positive, we will only adopt from now on. There are so many unfortunate dogs that just need the right placement. Without GoldHeart's help, we never would have found Bryce. We can't imagine our lives without him!
