Happy Endings - Brady

Back in late May 2008, we were waiting to foster one of the Pep Boys when Donna suggested that we foster Brady (then known as Toby), who was waiting to come into the rescue. I agreed to foster him, so Donna and I made the trip out to Mount Airy to pick him up. From the moment I met him, I knew he would be a welcome addition to our home. It was love at first sight! He came into our home, a little timid at first, since he had never met a cat and had not had any doggie playmates at his old home. Within three weeks, he had come out of his shell and settled right into life in our home. He bonded quickly with our 2 ½ year old Golden, Camden, and started to follow our cat, Diego, around the house - curious at what he was doing. Now, he and Camden are constant playmates - rough housing all day long, taking naps right next to each other, and relentlessly competing for mom and dad's attention. Since Brady has come to our home, he's experienced so many things that he never experienced in his old home - he's gone to the beach a few times, gone for hikes, gone swimming in the river, started obedience training - he's one happy boy! Thank you to everyone at GoldHeart, and especially Donna, for finding us our special boy. We truly can't remember life without him.
