Happy Endings - Ace & Sadie

We were initially only interested in being volunteers for GoldHeart in August 2006. We weren't sure if we wanted another dog yet or not. It had been 6 years since our last dog had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Then GoldHeart asked if we would be interested in fostering Ace! Ace was still very much a puppy at 15 months, but extremely well behaved. As soon as we met him, he had our hearts! He is the most loving, lovable, and easy-going puppy ever! We have since formally adopted him and don't know how we ever did without him before.

Then, in November 2006, right after Thanksgiving, we were asked if we could do an emergency pick up that was close to our home. That's when 9 month old Sadie came into our lives. We had realized by then that you can't only have one Golden! You must have at least TWO!! Sadie was so sweet. By the time we got home with her, we were hooked! Sadie officially joined our family right before Christmas!
