Memorials
This sweet little girl recently had a cyst removed from her head. However, further tests revealed more problems. Georgia came into rescue as a give up from an owner who worked too many hours away from home. She seemed like a super sweet Golden girl so she was being prepped for her first check up. She had a very large noticeable cyst on her head that we removed. It took several stitches to close this up. In the picture attached, there is other evidence of stitches on her head, so it can be safely assumed that she had another cyst at one point in time that was also removed. During this visit, the vet noticed a very large hard fibrous mass on her left shoulder. We decided that the mass needed to be tested for presence of cancerous cells. The test came back positive for a very aggressive tumor that gives her an estimated 6 months to live.
