Your donations make it possible for us to rescue and find new homes for unwanted Golden Retrievers.
Each year our expenses increase as veterinary care and supplies increase. The amount we collect when a dog is adopted rarely covers the expenses incurred. Below includes typical vet services for dogs coming into the rescue; however, some dogs need more vet services and this results in a higher average cost per dog. For example, average costs in recent years are typically closer to $800 per rescued Golden, with the exception of 2016, when our expenses were at an all-time high for vetting, reaching close to $1,500 average cost per dog rescued.
