BARCStoberfest is Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter’s biggest fundraiser of the year, raising the funds used to take care of the 12,000+ homeless animals BARCS receives each year. Ready, Set, Sniff 5k / 1mile.(registration at 9a, run/walk starts at 11) Pet Contests, including Pet Costume Contest, Adoptable Animals. K‑9 Demonstrations, Rally and Obedience, Animal Rescue Groups, Pet and People Crafts,Pet Health & Welfare.
As always, all well behaved pups are welcome to come. The yard is fenced in. Only you know your golden. If your golden does not play well with others or is not good with a lot of other dogs or people please come to the picnic but leave your golden home so the he/she is safe and comfortable.

Exhibitors will fill the spacious Cow Palace with thousands of products and services for pets. Some of the country’s foremost authorities in the pet industry will present seminars and demonstrations covering practically every aspect of pet care and training. Pets covered in these seminars include dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets and other animals. In addition to the shopping extravaganza and the seminar series, there will be continuous entertainment and demonstrations by nationally known pet organizations, interactive and educational presentations where children may handle live animals, a Parade of Breeds, a Petting Zoo, Rainforest Experience and many others.
