Archie (GH-611)
Archie has grown up to be a fine young man. He will be 2 in September as best we can guess. He is a long term foster because of a rare heart defect and a grade 6 heart murmur. He lives with his foster mom and dad Bill and Barb Schaefer and his foster brother and sister Ben and Sadie and Mickey the cat.
Archie does not know how sick he is, he runs and plays with everyone that comes to visit. At the picnic last year people were surprised to see how he plays with all the dogs.
He goes to the Matthew J. Ryan Vet Hospital in Philadelphia every year for a costly check up. He is not yet on any medications but doctors have told us what to look for to know when he needs to be brought in right away.
Thanks to GoldHeart Archie is living a good and full life. Will he live a good long life, we don’t know but he is living a good life for sure.
